March 25th marked opening night at the Marquis Theatre for Come Fly Away, the new Broadway musical created, choreographed and directed by Twyla Tharp, and featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra. And this opening had some very big names in the audience, including Sinatra’s two daughters, Nancy and Tina, Donald Trump, Tommy Tune, and Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford, to name just a few.
Come Fly Away tells the story of four couples falling in and out of love at a swinging nightclub on a star-lit evening. The show features a score of beloved Sinatra classics including “Summer Wind,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “My Way,” “Theme from New York, New York” and “I’ve Got the World on a String.”
